Technology in the Classroom

Throughout my field experience I have seen a lot of technology integrated into the classroom. The most common form is iPads in elementary and Chromebooks in high school. There is always a lot of discussion of integrating more technology into the classroom and how it can impact the students. I feel it will be a few years before new technology is included into the classroom. It will take a lot of preparing before this new technology is going to be able to be introduced to the students in the classroom. Meanwhile, I feel teachers can focus on using the current technology. I found an activity for 4th and 5th graders called pass the pen. This activity could be used in many different ways.
